Family Resource Center
Overview
Manchester Public Schools offer Family Resource Centers (FRC) at all elementary schools. Every site has the same approach, with components that include family engagement; outreach; positive youth development; resources and referrals; and -- at the elementary level -- playgroups. Funding for the program comes mostly from the district’s Alliance Grant, from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and from Title I.
